Spatial analysis of the impact of hosting a large number of internally displaced people in Qoliji, Ethiopia. The data collection included participatory mapping and consultations with women and men internally displaced people, and representatives of their hosting communities. The potential transformation of the settlement into a more permanent setting was assessed based on spatial development scenarios that consider variables such as population change and change in urban footprint.
